A recent study dissolving the Village of Lake George indicated a savings of 31% for Village taxpayers and an increase of 9% for Town outside Village taxpayers.
This would occur only if an agreed plan was approved by both muncipalities concerning the disposition of Village assets, debts, equipment, and personnel.
